ONLINE: Visit Our New Web SiteWe've given FinraFoundation.org a new design to help make our resources, research and grant information more accessible to grant applicants, educators, partners and the public.
The Grants Program section of the site provides comprehensive information about the General Grant Program. Complete instructions and guidelines for this open program, as well as the application form, are available for download.
The Grants Program section also contains descriptions of special grant programs—including Smart investing@your library®, Financial Education in Your Community and Investor Advocacy Clinic. The Foundation considers proposals to these programs by invitation only.
New Research Focuses on Retirement Planning ProgramsThe most recent addition to Foundation-sponsored research was prepared by grantees from North Carolina State University, and presented at the Annual Conference of the Pension Research Council (2009). Their research paper, Employer-Provided Retirement Planning Programs (PDF 106 KB), examines employer provided financial education and preretirement planning programs and assesses their effectiveness in increasing knowledge and altering retirement behavior.
Through research and the development of new educational programs, FINRA Foundation grantees aim to improve investor literacy and the financial stability of all Americans. The Foundation is pleased to make these resources available on its Web site. We invite you to view the research and resources developed by and for its grantees to date.
