NASD Investor Education Foundation Has a New Name: Introducing the FINRA Investor Education Foundation
On July 30, 2007, the NASD Foundation’s parent, NASD, consolidated with NYSE Member Regulation to form the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). At that time, the NASD Investor Education Foundation became the FINRA Investor Education Foundation—but its commitment to investor education and protection remains unchanged.
The Foundation will continue to award grants to fund educational programs and research aimed at segments of the investing public who could benefit from additional resources. The existing NASD Foundation Web site has been redirected to www.finrafoundation.org. |
