NEW 2007 General Grant Program
First Cycle: January 5 – February 26 Second Cycle: June 14 – August 10
The NASD Investor Education Foundation has announced two General Grant Program cycles for 2007. The Foundation will also issue in late January an RFP for projects to improve investor protection.
The General Grant Program funds research and/or educational projects to improve investor education and protection in the United States. Priorities for 2007 include projects that focus on behavioral finance, retirement income security of older Americans, and new marketing and distribution channels for investor education. Additional priorities are specified in the Grant Guidelines.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to participate in one of the following Q&A conference calls:
- Wednesday, January 24, 11:00 am Eastern
- Friday, February 9, 2:00 pm Eastern
- Wednesday, June 27, 11:00 am Eastern
- Tuesday, July 17, 2:00 pm Eastern

Through targeted research and the development of new educational programs, NASD Foundation grantees aim to improve investor literacy and the financial stability of all Americans. The Foundation is pleased to make available on its Web site the research and resources developed by its grantees.
